MONDRAGON strengthens inter-cooperation among its subsidiaries in Mexico

The 2nd MONDRAGON Mexico Forum brought together 50 representatives from the Corporation’s subsidiaries to share experiences, promote joint projects and explore new opportunities for collaboration. Inter-cooperation was the central theme of an event that itself became a practical demonstration of this distinctive MONDRAGON value.

Garaia Technology Park in Arrasate hosted the first edition of the MONDRAGON Ventures Foundry Awards last Friday, September 25. The initiative brought together a total of 13 projects and aims to identify technological assets emerging from the MONDRAGON ecosystem and accelerate their journey toward becoming future cooperative companies (startups and industrial spin-offs).

The new company will focus on a high-value-added sector of the future, developing and commercializing advanced technologies for prosthesis coatings. The initiative brings together two cooperatives that combine knowledge, capabilities and resources to drive a new business activity in the biomedical field, with an initial investment of €8 million.
