The meeting, organized by Telefónica and Arsys, brought together several companies involved in the 8ra initiative, a project supported by the government to improve digital infrastructures.

The main goal of the event was to promote a European digital system that was open, secure, and compatible across different technologies, especially in the combined use of cloud systems and user-proximate (edge) systems.

The main goal of the event was to promote a European digital system that was open, secure, and compatible across different technologies.

During the event, MONDRAGON presented its AASDS-IND project. This project used artificial intelligence to enable different companies to share and learn from data without needing to exchange it directly. To achieve this, it used open technologies and digital models of industrial processes.

The initiative aimed to give Europe greater control over its technology and data, while also facilitating the development of more advanced and collaborative industrial solutions.

The event also showcased the progress of participating companies and highlighted Spain’s role in developing key digital infrastructures for the European economy.
