MONDRAGON, an associate participant in the European IPCEI on Artificial Intelligence
The Directorate-General for Artificial Intelligence, under the Ministry for Digital Transformation and the Civil Service, has officially announced the selection of MONDRAGON as part of the national IPCEI AI process.
The proposal submitted by MONDRAGON, entitled “AEON – First Sovereign and Trusted European Network of AI Agents based on Modular Architectures and Sector-Specific Customisation”, is one of the selected initiatives. In total, the Ministry has chosen 10 participants at national level: nine direct participants and MONDRAGON as the sole associated participant.

International collaboration and industrial innovation
The IPCEI AI initiative will drive innovative industrial developments in artificial intelligence through large-scale European collaborative projects. Following this selection, MONDRAGON will work on establishing an international network of partners to advance the project’s next phases and strengthen its position in strategic areas linked to AI applied to industry and digital transformation.
