The gathering transformed the company’s facilities into a true industrial showcase, where attendees were able to tour 25 machines in operation, witness seven live machining demonstrations, and explore six technological areas. Professionals from countries such as the United States, Germany, and France had the opportunity to see real industrial applications in a fully operational production environment.

Soraluce’s Managing Director, Rafa Idigoras, highlighted the value of the event: “It is a great opportunity to showcase to our customers the technologies, solutions, and products we develop. In addition to the commercial focus, we also place emphasis on suppliers, educational institutions, and public organizations.”

The New High Rail Gantry Machines, one of the major highlights

One of the main attractions of this edition was the world premiere of the new High Rail Gantry machine, part of the Dynamic Line range. This equipment has been designed for applications in sectors such as aerospace and mold-making, where high performance in speed and precision is required.

The machine delivers outstanding performance, with feed rates of up to 60 m/min, accelerations of up to 4 m/s², and a new 5-axis head equipped with electro-spindles ranging from 12,000 to 30,000 rpm. These capabilities enable highly efficient semi-finishing and finishing operations.

In Idigoras’ words, “the High Rail Gantry machine is very powerful, with high dynamic and speed performance, particularly aimed at the aerospace and mold-making sectors.”

Automation and digitalization, key pillars of the Summit

Automation is another of the event’s key pillars. The solutions presented range from autonomous systems to fully integrated machining cells, designed to enable unattended production and improve productivity and process reliability.

In the field of digitalization, Soraluce is showcasing various solutions focused on monitoring, production management, and maintenance, capable of transforming machine data into useful information for real-time decision-making and the development of predictive maintenance strategies.

Growth and future outlook

This year’s edition has been very well received by the sector. “We are receiving very positive feedback from customers, suppliers, and our sales network, who highly value the company’s evolution in recent years,” said Idigoras.

The company also maintains an optimistic outlook: “Last year we reached a record order intake, and for 2026 we expect to achieve a record turnover as well.” However, he acknowledged that the international context is causing some delays in decision-making in certain markets.

Commitment to talent and the local environment

Soraluce Summit is not aimed solely at companies in the sector, but also opens its doors to students, institutions, and other stakeholders. During these days, students from Mondragon Universitatea and the University of Navarra School of Engineering (Tecnun) had the opportunity to experience a real advanced manufacturing environment up close.
