Irizar appoints LKS for the technical assistance in the construction of the new plant for electro mobility

The new plant, with a 27,000 sqm area, will house the manufacture and assembly of the different parts that Irizar has been integrating within its group; power electronics and electrical engines, amongst others, for electric vehicles: a complete and integrated product. That is why Irizar commissioned LKS the design of "the best factory in Gipuzkoa", design which must be distinctive and linked to the concepts they handle in their day to day: technology, sustainability, clean, lean manufacturing and factory 4.0.
With this project, Irizar invests on the future potential of electrical systems aiming to position itself as a leader in urban mobility with a firm commitment to sustainability and environmental improvement. Various Spanish and European cities such as San Sebastian, Madrid, Barcelona, London, Marseille and Paris, have signed agreements with Irizar and already have electric buses Irizar i2e.
