Iñigo Albizuri elected President of CICOPA
After a 6 years degree in Industrial Engineering and Business Management, Mr Albizuri worked for more than twenty years in different countries with COPRECI Group , a cooperative belonging to the Mondragon Group, expanding markets as North America and Asia but always committed to quality, environment, occupational safety and health, and social responsibility values. Since 2018 , he is in charge of Public Affairs for the MONDRAGON Corporation and President of MUNDUKIDE the NGO of MONDRAGON for pushing the creation of cooperatives in developing countries.
“The world has a bunch of challenges for us. And our answers are seeds of future. The industrial and services cooperatives of the world have a quite good answers for facing the future by humanising the work. It will be an honour for me to represent this cooperative movement".
Iñigo Albizuri succeeds Manuel Mariscal who leaves the Presidency of CICOPA after 8 years of remarkable dedication and achievements. We would like to express our gratitude for his commitment in promoting cooperatives in industry and services, and in bringing more visibility and cohesion inside CICOPA network.
