All set for the first ASETT Forum

Donostia-San Sebastián will become the epicenter of the debate on the role of the social economy with the celebration of the First International ASETT Forum. The meeting will bring together more than 400 people from the social economy, including institutional representatives, private entities, and international figures, who will outline the lines of action for a more inclusive future driven by the business network.

The event will take place on May 27, 28, 29, and 30, marking the international opening of this cutting-edge hub. MONDRAGON is participating in the organization of this Forum.

Extensive program with specific and complementary activities
The First ASETT International Forum is designed as a multi-sector event that combines plenary sessions, discussion and networking opportunities, cultural activities, and company visits. The goal of ASETT is to provide a space for promoting a social and inclusive economy at a global level.

Among other things, it is worth noting that members of the International Advisory Council, which includes the ILO, the United Nations, the OECD, the European Parliament, Oxfam-Intermon, and representatives of governments from various countries, will participate in the plenary sessions and roundtables.

In addition to the First ASETT Forum, a series of complementary activities have been scheduled: the presentation of the Denon Artean Award by the Basque Country Higher Council of Cooperatives (Kooperatiben Kontseilua) (on the 28th at 6:00 p.m. at the Victoria Eugenia Theater in San Sebastián) and a musical event featuring the Cooperative Symphony, conducted by its composer Fernando Velázquez in collaboration with the Euskadiko Orkestra, open to the public.
