BATZ Group awarded silver medal by Ecovadis
In recognition of its sustainability achievements, BATZ Group has been awarded the EcoVadis 2021 Silver Medal.
This assessment places BATZ in the top 25% of the companies evaluated by EcoVadis, and corroborates the industrial group's commitment to the development and transition towards a new sustainable mobility model.
An approach to the three dimensions that make up sustainability through corporate policies, initiatives and achievements fully aligned with the sustainable development objectives of the 2030 Agenda; and a further step in the exercise of transparency towards its stakeholders, which comes in addition to other initiatives such as the Sustainability Report that annually compiles information on its environmental performance, the creation of social value, corporate governance and other aspects of CSR, and the annual event BATZ Innovation Summit, a commitment to generate value and promote knowledge through dissemination.
The methodology that follows Ecovadis assesses each company on material aspects corresponding to its size, location and sector based on leading international standards such as the UN Global Compact's Ten Principles, International Labour Organization (ILO) conventions, Global Reporting Initiative (GRI) standards, ISO 26000, the CERES roadmap and the UN Guiding Principles on Business and Human Rights, also known as the Ruggie Framework.
