Mondragon Unibertsitatea strengthens its ties with South Korea

South Korea is a reference country within the internationalization activities of Mondragon Unibertsitatea. 230 students/entrepreneurs of the Entrepreneurial Leadership and Innovation Degree - LEINN from all the laboratories of the Mondragon Team Academy network have made this year their learning trip to South Korea. In this learning trip they got to know the innovation ecosystem and leading companies in the Asian country and developed entrepreneurial projects. In addition, 30 students of the Degree in Business Administration and Management-DUAL - myGADE from all Mondragon Unibertsitatea campuses of the digital marketing itinerary have also made their international stay in that country.
In addition to the agreements signed, Mondragon Unibertsitatea participated in the Jeju Forum for Peace and Prosperity by presenting two papers: the first one on MONDRAGON's cooperative model and its impact on territorial development and the second one on the Mondragon Team Academy educational project and its international entrepreneurship ecosystem
With the attendance of Bixente Atxa (Rector of Mondragon Unibertsitatea), Lander Beloki (Dean of the Business Faculty of Mondragon Unibertsitatea) and Aitor Lizartza (Coordinator of Mondragon Team Academy), Mondragon Unibertsitatea has developed an intense agenda within which a collaboration agreement has been signed with Sungkonghoe University-SKHU to intensify the exchange of students and develop academic activities jointly.
Also noteworthy is the framework agreement signed between Jeju Development Center, Happy Bridge Management Institute and Mondragon Unibertsitatea for the promotion of entrepreneurship and innovation in Jeju Island between the parties.
The third agreement has been signed with Byulmuri Social Cooperative, a reference network that brings together innovative educational centers.
In addition to the agreements signed, Mondragon Unibertsitatea participated in the Jeju Forum for Peace and Prosperity by presenting two papers: the first one on MONDRAGON's cooperative model and its impact on territorial development and the second one on the Mondragon Team Academy educational project and its international entrepreneurship ecosystem. Jeju Forum is an annual international event with more than 20 years of experience where global challenges are discussed with international experts from various disciplines.
An important event of the visit was the one organized by Happy Bridge Management Institute - HBMI on social innovation, where representatives from Mondragon Unibertsitatea - Mondragon Team Academy, TZBZ, Ashoka Korea and C.dot participated along with students and graduates of the LEINN Degree.
