Fagor Ederlan receives `best plant' Industrial Excellence award 2015 from PSA Peugeot Citroën
This prize is awarded annually to suppliers who are noted for their Industrial excellence, with extremely high standards in all management parameters. Part of the speech during the event included phrases such as "Suppliers here today have demonstrated their commitment to Industrial Excellence and the brilliant route they have chosen is essential to support PSA so that it can offer its customers the best products and services in the automotive sector".
Each year, more than 600,000 discs and brake drums leave the Fagor Ederlan premises to be delivered directly to the PSA Peugeot Citroën plant in Vigo.
The event was attended by one hundred of the top suppliers from a base of over 10,000, among those that were present alongside Fagor Ederlan were global Tier 1 suppliers such as Bosch and Faurecia, to name but two.
The Fagor Ederlan Brake Disc plant in Mondragon - Arrasate supplies front and rear brake discs for vehicles such as the Citroën C4 Picasso, Peugeot Partner and Citroën Berlingo. Each year, more than 600,000 discs and brake drums leave the Fagor Ederlan premises to be delivered directly to the PSA Peugeot Citroën plant in Vigo.
This award is recognition of the management that the Fagor Ederlan Disc plant team has developed in recent years.
The award was accepted by Mikel Bastida, manager of the Fagor Ederlan Disc plant and Luis Miguel Martín, sales Manager at Fagor Ederlan France.
